The MN Multi Housing Association (MHA), like most associations, is 100% member-driven and exists to meet the needs of the industry. Without member input and participation, we'd accomplish nothing. We are always looking for insight from bright, enthusiastic folks and not only appreciate but COUNT ON our members to help us make it all work. I remember the first time I went to my apartment association for a meeting... I was so young and nervous. Eventually those fears disappeared. People that are active in apartment associations are usually those that are passionate about their careers. I choose to be one of those people. It’s not only educational but fun to network with people in your same industry. Participate = Personal Growth

If you can catch the concept of doing something for no compensation and participate with a genuine heart for what you are doing, the byproducts are huge. And, they come when you least expect it. It's a hard concept to wrap one's head around but worth trying. Apartment associations are the perfect platforms for doing as much. Your giving might come in the way of a kind word to a rookie in the business that inspires them to do great things for the business. It might be in the way of lending a hand to the holiday charity food drive that feeds 100 families in your MSA. Whatever it may be the organizations are rich with opportunity.
